then why...WHY does the rest of their advertising look like this:
oh great, a typeface that every myspace kid/punkmetal band/designer looking for a "grungy font" uses. oh, I get it, cracks in the typeface are for like, the rocks, cuz they are like, on an island right? It may be literal but expressively I feel no LOST, whereas the other logo looks way more uncertain, mysterious and scary.

I've never seen the show, but that intro was pretty freaking awesome... love the creepy factor.
I have to agree, the advertising is pretty lame in comparison... that write up made me actually laugh out loud.
