Animal of Awesome: Megabats

Megabats or “Flying Foxes” live in the tropical areas of Asia, Africa and Oceania.

They only eat fruit so their teeth are small and harmless, which is nice to know when the thing is as big as a small child.

They eat at night AND during the day.

They do not use echolocation but instead have big eyeballs and a wicked sense of smell.

Once you get past the whole holyshitthatbatisgargantuan they are pretty damn cute.
